Hey there,

Have you ever made a decision and then wondered:

Why did I do that again?

Meet the horsehair worm.

It spends part of its life growing inside insects like crickets. Eventually, the worm needs water to continue its life cycle.

Minor logistical problem.

The cricket lives on land.

So things get weird.

Research has found that infection can alter a cricket’s behavior, increasing the chances that it heads toward water. Once there, the worm emerges and carries on with its aquatic life.

Imagine carrying around something you cannot see, while it influences where you go.

Which got us thinking about spiritual parasites.

We mean the invisible things that can take up residence in your mental ecosystem:

  • Fear you picked up years ago.

  • Guilt you never questioned.

  • Someone else’s expectations.

  • A belief about yourself that has somehow survived every software update since 2009.

They consume attention. They influence choices. And because they live inside your own thought process, they can be surprisingly hard to recognize.

You may genuinely want to do something while another part of you keeps finding reasons to retreat.

Who’s driving?

That is where self-awareness starts to get interesting.

Bill Dueease has a useful name for some of these internal roadblocks: self-imposed obstacles.

They are the impediments your subconscious mind harbors for certain activities that
contradict the decision of your conscious mind to perform them

Bill co-founded the Coach Connection (TCC) 25 years ago after careers in the
petroleum business, nationwide retail and ski area development in New Zealand. Bill
was lucky enough at age 56 to have vastly increased his self awareness through being
coached to operate TCC to help others discover and understand themselves bettor by
connecting clients with their best matched experienced coaches.

And those patterns tend to show up right where your intentions meet resistance.

You want the new career.

Something keeps delaying the application.

You want the relationship.

Something keeps repeating the same dynamics.

You want to take the risk.

Suddenly your brain has prepared a 63-slide presentation explaining why Tuesday is a terrible day to begin.

That is where another perspective can be useful.

A good coach can help you notice the fears, assumptions, and habits that are much easier to see from outside your own head.

Bug Wisdom

🦗 Pay attention to what repeatedly pulls you off course
🦗 Question the beliefs that seem to make decisions for you
🦗 Self-awareness starts with noticing your patterns

The horsehair worm eventually leaves the cricket.

Some of our passengers need a formal eviction notice.

NVIDIA's Founder Says Farmers Should Absolutely Use AI

“If I were a farmer, I would absolutely use AI.”

That’s Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of NVIDIA.

And he's pointing to one of AI’s biggest untapped opportunities: Farming. It’s an industry facing mounting pressure to produce more with less and it’s still massively under-automated.

DIT AgTech brings AI, nutrition automation, and real-time data to livestock production, helping ranchers boost productivity and get more from every animal.

And it’s already proven in one of the world's toughest livestock environments:

  • 500+ units deployed

  • 370,000 head of livestock on the platform

  • Up to 55% higher daily weight gain

Now expanding into the U.S. and Brazil, DIT AgTech is targeting a 300M+ head cattle market. And the biggest barrier to adoption? Gone. Ranchers get the technology for free when they sign up for a three-year nutrition plan.

DIT AgTech can scale adoption faster, which means more data and more recurring revenue.

Invest before this early-stage opportunity gets harder to access.
